John is founder of Video Expression, directs the company and leads production. He studied a Degree in Art & Design and made his first video in 1979, but went straight into sales and graduated to Director level roles in the IT industry in managed services and international management roles with companies like IBM & Cable & Wireless. He’s led several successful start-ups and UK product launches. This included pioneering video marketing projects. At IBM he created major IP TV projects for the health and pharmaceutics industry, like World Health Networks TV, Virtual Health Villages and interactive e-learning programmes for the UK Health Education Authority to encourage positive behavioural change.

Helen Tonetti – Marketing Director

Helen looks after our digital marketing strategies and offshore development, where we build websites and get economic, high quality support for major projects. We call her our ‘hunter gatherer’ and she has been instrumental in shaping our winning strategies which are centred on using digital campaigns to run carefully crafted relationship building exercises with contacts that have the highest value to our clients.

Helen also manages offshore development and support services, covering everything from  full .TV website development to video transcriptions services.

Caroline Lacklison – Company Secretary

Caroline looks after contracts, business compliance, finance and coordination of resources. She has a business management, finance and strong background in the media industry and is based at our Petersfield Head Office.

The Wider Team

We’ve built a trusted team of writers, language translators and camera directors; most have worked for the BBC and ITV and can edit in all the leading formats, like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier CS4, After Effects and Sony Vegas.

We now have over 40 actors, actresses and presenters that we have personally auditioned across a wide variety of ages, ethnicity and both genders. Most have formal training and 100s of hours of experience on BBC, ITV, Sky, satelitte and corporate video.

Our Locations & Coverage

Most of our services can be delivered centrally, e.g. a client in Scotland can send us material to be produced here and presented by one of our host presenters. We have permanent locations near Petersfield which is our registered office, HQ and used for film studio work. Also we have access to permanent and mobile temporary chroma key ‘green screen’ studios in London Orpington, Kent and Lewes, Brighton, Crawley, Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Petersfield. We will shortly have access to a 500 square foot facility with video streaming and chroma key capability in partnership with Castle TV.
